The Founders of Bucks-Mont
Two-Cylinder Club began showing their antique John Deere tractor as a
group at events as early as 1986. They participated in the Souderton
Ambulance Parade on September 13, 1986, the Souderton Centennial Parade
June 27, 1987 and the Pennridge Community Day July 2, 1989.
The first John Deere Day gathering was at Dick and Dottie Garis' farm on
Center School Road on July 22, 1989 with almost 30 John Deere tractors
on display.
The first Annual Show was at the Hilltown Township Community field in
Blooming Glen, Labor Day Weekend August 31, 1991 with 45 tractors.
