The Founders of Bucks-Mont Two-Cylinder Club began showing their antique John Deere tractor as a group at events as early as 1986. They participated in the Souderton Ambulance Parade on September 13, 1986, the Souderton Centennial Parade June 27, 1987 and the Pennridge Community Day July 2, 1989.

The first John Deere Day gathering was at Dick and Dottie Garis' farm on Center School Road on July 22, 1989 with almost 30 John Deere tractors on display.

A meeting was held February 5, 1990 at the Dublin Firehouse to discuss the forming "a Tractor Club (it is assumed that a primary orientation of the club would be the John Deere tractor, however, individuals with a general interest or interest for other tractor brands are also welcome)." Seventy three enthusiasts attended the meeting with a video tape of the 1989 Tractor Happening at the Garis Farm being shown.

A second meeting was held October 16, 1990 at the Blooming Glen (old) Township Building.

The second gathering was On The Green at the Est. of Geo. S. Snyder Lumber Yard in Hatfield on June 30, 1990.

Our Repair Clinics now called Shop Night are as old as our club, the first being held at I.G. Sales on February 26, 1991 with 78 men and women in attendance.

The first Annual Show was at the Hilltown Township Community Field in Blooming Glen, Labor Day Weekend August 31, 1991 with 45 tractors.

On April 16, 1992 we became an non-profit corporation.

Our first Plow Day was at Herb Hager farm on Quarry Road on April 25, 1992 with 9 people participating.

Deere & Co. had sanctioned the Two-Cylinder Club Worldwide, Inc. for two-cylinder enthusiasts. On January 16, 1993 Bucks-Mont received our charter at the First Annual Dinner at the Plumsteadville Fire House. This turned out to be the last Charter issued by Two-Cylinder Club Worldwide, Inc.

The club owes much to the wives of our members especially Dotty Garis, Dorothy Halteman, Peg Hardy, and Joan Landis who did as much to get this club started as their husbands.

We published our first Newsletter in October, 1993 with William Annechini as Editor

Kiddie Tractor Pulls were introduced for the children who visit the show in 1995.

October 1995 Bill Annechini retired as Editor and Dotty Garis assumed the duties as Editor of the club newsletter "Deere Tales".

For the 1996 show a special kiddie tractor puller was made with wide rear tires and front weights.

The phrase "All John Deere Antique Tractor Show" on the dash plaques handed to all exhibitors was changed to "John Deere Antique Tractor Show" in 1997

All colors of tractors were invited for the first time; Traylor, Oliver, Ford/Fordson, and Farmalls all showed up. Every three years all colors will be invited.

The 1998 Plow Day was featured on WPVI-TV Channel 6 "Prime Time" show.

In 1998 Club dues changed from May 31st to the Show date Labor Day weekend. Roy Landis, Co-Founder, Charter Member, Master of Ceremony, and the only Club President in the club history stepped down after eight years. H. Franklin Rice was elected as the second Club President.

Grant Zook became the third Club President in 2000

In 2002 the Club purchased ten JD 2-cylinder Pedal Tractors for kid games and activities at the show.
Graye Peak became Club President.
